Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV Roadster Debuts In Sunny California

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV is for the Lamborghini customer that needs a little extra power and drama from their supercar to have fun. And if the fixed roof version of the limited-edition Lambo still isn’t enough, the Sant’Agata based automaker recently pulled the veil from the Aventador SV Roadster in sunny Southern California.

As you might have expected, the Aventador SV Roadster is powered by the same 750 horsepower 6.5-liter V12 as the fixed roof version of the supercar. The SV treatment has also helped it lose 110 lbs of weight over the standard Aventador Roadster, giving it an improved power-to-weight ratio of 4.6 lbs per horsepower.

Like the standard Aventador Roadster, the SV comes with a two-piece removable carbon fiber hardtop roof that can be easily stowed in the luggage compartment. The car also features a power rear window that opens a passageway to allow the roar of the 6.5-liter V12 engine to fill the cabin whether the roof is attached or removed.

Lamborghini will begin taking orders for the Aventador SV Roadster in early 2016, with prices starting at $530,075 USD. You might want to head down to your local Lambo dealer soon if you’re interested, though, as just 500 examples will be made.
