Lexus To Reveal Two Updated Models At Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

Seeing as the annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California plays host every year to a crowd of moneyed car enthusiasts, it’s befitting that the event is often the destination of choice for a select few luxury car unveilings.

This year, two of those Pebble Beach unveilings will be wearing the Lexus badge, according to website GT Spirit. Toyota’s luxury division is preparing to pull the wraps off of a pair of fresh, facelifted models – though we can only guess at what they will be.

Considering the frequency of sightings of the facelifted 2016 Lexus LX570 SUV, often testing in-the-flesh with no camouflage, it seems very likely that it will be one of Lexus’ two Pebble Beach reveals. Besides, as GT Spirit notes, Americans do love their SUVs. Consequently, the US provides an ideal destination for revealing that tall, lumbering bit of luxury automobile.

As for Lexus’ second planned unveiling, GT Spirit suspects that it could be a facelifted version of the GS sedan, as the luxury four-door is also ripe for a refresh.
