Unique Forza Motorsport-Themed 2016 Ford Focus RS Unveiled

With the sixth instalment of the Microsoft XBox’s popular Forza Motorsport racing simulation franchise set to launch in September of this year, Microsoft and the game’s developer – Turn 10 Studios – have been diligently promoting the game around the globe.

Naturally, part of that promotion tour includes appearing at various video game expos, like the United States’ “E3” show which took place in June.

In the same vein, at this year’s “Gamescom” expo in Cologne, Germany, fans curious about the latest game in the Forza Motorsport series will come face-to-face with a singularly unique Forza Motorsport 6-themed 2016 Ford Focus RS. The car was just unveiled earlier today, wearing a livery designed by a fan, and selected as part of a competition to draft the vinyl wrap which would adorn the Ford Focus RS at the Microsoft booth.

What’s more, the Forza-themed 2016 Ford Focus RS was driven to the event by none other than The Stig from the BBC’s Top Gear program. He accompanied the car through the unveiling, although presumably, refused to take any questions.

The Stig will make an appearance in the new Forza Motorsport title, as will the game’s featured cover car: the all-new Ford GT. You can see the GT within the vinyl livery adorning the Ford Focus RS above, and visitors to the Gamescom show can also look forward to one appearing in-the-flesh at the Microsoft booth.

The Gamescom expo takes place from August 5th through the 9th.
