Hennessey Baseline Dyno Tests A 2015 Dodge Viper: Video

Hennessey Performance Engineering rose to fame by slapping turbos on Dodge’s already wild 8.0-liter V10 Viper, but in more recent times, they’ve stayed in the spotlight by tuning GM’s LS engines in cars like the Corvette, Escalade, Camaro and more.

HPE is back to tuning vipers now, releasing a video of them doing baseline dyno tests on their 2015 Viper. This isn’t just any 2015 Viper, either, it’s a limited edition GTS Ceramic Blue Edition Package, which includes that wonderful blue paint hue, a more luxurious alcantara-swathed interior, unique wheels, carbon fiber brake ducts and more.

The 2015 Viper is said to produce 640 horsepower at the flywheel, and Hennessey’s dyno tests indicate the car is performing exactly as advertised. Check out the video below, and keep an eye on Hennessey’s website as they divulge their plans for this beautiful example of Dodge’s classic supercar.
