Ford Shines In Latest Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards

In today’s competitive market, one-up-manship plays an enormous role in promoting and marketing the cars and automotive brands we love so much.

Often lost in a sea of social media campaigning, prime-time television advertising, and the daily innovations of modern-day technology, is the importance of customer retention. Luckily, the Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards remind us as to the value of repeat buyers and brand attachment. The Polk awards recognize those manufacturers whose customers, year after year, keep coming back for more, and entice buyers of other brands to ‘join the family’.

FoMoCo has always performed well at these awards, but even managed to surpass its own lofty expectations with this year’s performance. Ford Motor Company took home the Overall Loyalty to Manufacturer award whilst the Ford brand itself took home Overall Loyalty to Make. Having hauled in the night’s most prized possessions, Ford proceeded to take home a third award, Non-Luxury Full-Size Half-Ton Pickup for their F-150 model.

Toyota also had an impressive showing. Proving another year of dominance in the Asian Market, as well as recording new loyalty heights with the Hispanic Market, Toyota vehicles also brought home an impressive array of individual honors: winners include the Toyota Prius – Non-Luxury Traditional Compact Car, Land Cruiser – Non-Luxury Sport Mid-Size Car, Avalon – Non-Luxury Traditional Full-Size Car; and Tacoma – Non-Luxury Mid-Size Pickup.

Not to be forgotten, Audi and Subaru turned the tide and stamped their mark on the awards, both taking out awards in the conquest category, meaning percentage of customer demand from other brands or new buyers to their label. Audi took home the Highest Conquest Percent of Registrations prize and Subaru won the Most Improved Conquest Percent of Registrations award. With Audi having attracted more new customers than any other brand and Subaru displaying the greatest percentage of improvement in the same category, the future looks healthy for both companies.

One name not found on the awards list was Volkswagen.

As manufacturers showcase awards in recognition for their business successes, we at motrolix.com will be working on keeping you up to date with all the latest, as the heated competition for this years awards has already begun.
