One Of Nine Lamborghini Veneno Roadsters Lands In Hong Kong

If there’s proof that China is a major force and economic super power, let’s visit the fact that one of the extremely limited-production Lamborghini Veneno Roadsters has landed in Hong Kong.

To say that the Veneno Roadster is rare is an understatement, as there are only nine in existence. The price? The equivalent of $4.6 million USD. As Jalopnik points out, this is probably what an alien space craft would look like if it had Italian roots and was painted bianco.

The Lamborghini Veneno was originally built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Italian supercar company. Lamborghini first commissioned three hardtop Veneno coupes. Following their success, the Volkswagen Auto Group-owned supercar maker followed up with nine versions of the roadster. Aside from breathtaking looks, the supercar features a 6.5-liter V12 engine producing a measly 740 horsepower.

The power figure means that the Veneno is the fastest road-going Lamborghini to be ever produced, and we’re sure the individual in Hong Kong will enjoy what it has to offer.
