Hennessey Ford F-150 HPE600 Hits The Dyno: Video

If you want a forced induction Ford F-150, the automaker offers both its 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged and 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engines to customers. However if you’d like a little V8 grumble with your boost, you’re out of luck. This is where Hennessey Performance Engineering steps in.

You’ve probably heard of Hennessey before. The tuning company rose to fame for its unhinged twin-turbo Vipers and is now known for tuning everything from Corvettes to Cadillacs. Most recently, they’ve applied their expertise to Ford’s new 5.0-liter V8 powered F-150, gracing it with a supercharger and some other aftermarket parts to produce nearly 600 horsepower.

The Hennessey F-150 receives the same supercharger system as the F-150 Raptor-based Hennessey VelociRaptor. That means a 2.9-liter supercharged is used and joined by HPE engine calibration and the necessary gaskets and fluids. It may not sound like much, but as HPE proves in the video below, the results are dramatic.
