Ford Recalls Over 30,000 Trucks, Crossovers

The latest round of recalls has FoMoCo. recalling over 30,000 midsized and fullsized trucks as well as midsized crossovers due to fuel line and electrical issues.

Of the 30,000 vehicles, 23,688 are Ford Rangers with 2.3L engines built between Oct. 15, 2009 and May 19 2010. Separate from the fuel issues are  8,022 Ford F-Series trucks from the F-150 to the F-550, Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX models built between Oct. 25 to Nov. 20, 2010 that are being recalled for a suspect electrical short in the body control module that could cause fires.

Owners may call Ford at 866-436-7332 or NHTSA’s hotline at 888-327-4236. Don’t bother going on the NHTSA website, you’ll have better luck navigating the Pacific Ocean without a map or compass while treading water.
