Stern Pinball Honors 50th Anniversary Of Ford Mustang, Debuts Three New Machines

Chicago-based Stern Pinball announced that it will release three new pinball games with a Mustang theme, each designed to pay tribute to 50 years of Mustang ponycar heritage. What’s more, this new gaming machine will be released at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show.

“We’re excited to have Stern Pinball join us here in his hometown of Chicago with brand-new games featuring Mustang,” said Steve Ling, Ford car marketing manager.

Stern Pinball is also offering a premium game featuring Mustang Boss 302, Boss 351 and Boss 429 and there is a limited-edition game honoring the 1965 original Mustang, as well as the all-new 2015 Mustang. Additionally, champion pinball player Zach Sharpe is going to challenge journalists to beat his high score during media preview day of the auto show on Feb 6th and 7th.

This will be the first appearance the all-new Mustang will make next to Stern Pinball games. Furthermore, other licensees like Mattel and Caddy Shack are making products that pay homage to the 50 year commemoration of the “Pony Car.”
