This Is The First Ford Mustang Sold In The World: Video

Ford fans and Mustang enthusiasts might remember Gail Wise as the first Ford Mustang owner in the world as presented by Ford upon unveiling the all-new 2015 Mustang. Chances are that if you remember Gail, then you’re also familiar with the rather unconventional story of how she purchased the baby blue 1964.5 Mustang convertible for $3,400 a full two days ahead of its public debut and subsequent availability in 1964.

As Gail describes it, her first few years of owning the pony were filled with all kinds of attention from bystanders and even the police checking out her new ride that made her feel like a move star. Today, nearly 50 years later, Gail and her husband Tom still own that baby blue Mustang convertible. But the pony sat in a garage in a broken down state for almost three decades before being fully restored to a like-new condition a few years ago. We’ve heard most of that before, but we haven’t actually seen the car in question… until now.
