The clip then goes on to list several standard features of the ’66 Stang, such as bucket seats, a sporty steering wheel, and a 5-dial instrument cluster, as well as options such as front disc brakes, Stereo-sonic tape player, 289 cubic inch Cobra V8… yup, they just don’t make them like they used to anymore.
All of this caused Fred to soar to new heights and explore new adventures: “We call him ‘Fred Ace of all Aces’ now. Is there no stopping him? Not in any Mustang for ’66,” the commercial concludes.
