2015 Audi A6 Allroad Priced From A$111,900 In Australia

The 2015 Audi A6 Allroad will carry a starting price of A$111,900 in Australia, which is roughly $90,000 USD using current exchange rates. The A6 Allroad ruggedized midsize wagon was previously available in limited supply in Australia, but the introduction of the new model makes the nameplate a mainstay of Audi Australia’s lineup.

In Australia, the 2015 A6 Allroad is only available with Audi’s 215 horsepower 3.0-litre TDI turbo-diesel V6. However, Audi did say that it is considering bringing the more robust 3.0-litre TDI Biturbo V6 engine, which is good for 315 horsepower, to the region. The powerplant is mated to Audi’s seven-speed dual-clutch automatic S Tronic transmission, sending power to — as the name implies — a standard Quattro all-wheel drive system.

The A6 Allroad will come standard with Audi’s MMI infotainment system, a 10-speaker audio system, an electric lift tailgate, a rearview camera, and other equipment. It will also come with some technology which can come in handy when putting the Allroad’s higher ride height and rugged body cladding to use, such as a hill descent control, a tilt angle display for the MMI screen and ‘allroad’ and ‘lift’ drive modes.

One of the few optional extras on the 2015 A6 Allroad is the $4,800 Technik pack, which Audi expects many customers to order. The optional pack includes a park assist system, adaptive cruise control, a pre-collision braking system, top-down 360-degree camera and Audi Connect 4G Internet. Other optional extras include a Bose audio system, Matrix LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, and body-color wheel arches and bumpers.
