Ford Chosen As One Of The Most Ethical Companies

On March 20th, Ford Motor Company was honored as being one of the one of the World’s Most Ethical (WME) Companies in the world for the fifth year in a row. The Ethisphere Institute did the honors, giving Ford kudos among 143 other companies and representing 41 industries across the globe. In particular, Ford was selected for its political and business practices and responsible corporate efforts.

According to the Ethisphere Institute website, the WME Companies designation “recognizes companies that truly go beyond making statements about doing business ‘ethically’ and translate those words into action.” WME honorees promote ethical business standards and practices both internally and externally, exceeding legal compliance minimums to shape future industry standards by introducing best practices today.

Ford was the only automotive company for 2014 to be recognized for this award. The Dearborn, MI-base company is also among a small group of companies to receive this prestige five years in a row. For more information about the award and to see the list of winners, visit Ethisphere’s award page.
