When it goes on sale later this year, the cabin of the 2015 Ford Mustang will have a total of eight airbags — a twofold increase over the outgoing model’s four. These include driver and passenger front and seat-mounted side airbags as well as driver and passenger knee airbags, with the passenger’s located in the glovebox.
In addition to those, the fastback (coupe) will feature two side curtain airbags, while the convertible gets a seat-mounted head airbag on each side.
