YouTuber Recreates Bugatti W16 Using Legos: Video

The Bugatti Veyron is one of the world’s most powerful and expensive cars ever made. At the heart of the $1.3 million supercar lies an 8.0-liter powerplant producing 1,000 hp from a W16 layout achieved by joining two V8 engines at the crank.

Due to the Veyron’s price, only a few individuals have the privilege to bask in its brilliance, but that doesn’t mean enterprising individuals have to be Bugatti-less despite their bank accounts – take YouTuber Lego Solde as the perfect example. He has a passion for recreating automotive engines out of Legos, and his newest masterpiece includes a fully functional Veyron’s W16 engine. Solde also includes animated technical drawings of the Lego engine.

In the video below, Solde walks viewers through the engine’s intricacies and shows off how it works, and the video gives enthusiasts the ability to examine a rare piece of machinery that only a few have seen in such technical detail.
