Last year’s Carlisle Ford Nationals in Carlisle, Pennsylvania focused entirely on the Mustang, as it was the launch year of the all-new 2015 model. This year the event is all about the GT, and hundreds of examples of the legendary American supercar are expected to show up, including both old vintage GTs, the Camilo Pardo-designed second-gen model and potentially, the all-new 2016 GT.
In addition to the unsurmountable amount of GTs in attendance, there will be major players linked to the GT and its history at Carlisle. These include second-gen GT designer Camilo Pardo, Steve Saleen, the Robertson Race team and more. The event will also mark the launch of a new television program on the Velocity Channel centered on the GT called, you guessed it, Ford GT. Speciality vendors will be on hand selling GT-specific products, too, while GT-themed seminars will be held.
