U.S. Acura dealers delivered 17,042 new vehicles in May 2015, a 16.1 percent increase compared to May 2014.
“The Acura sedan lineup continues to build strong momentum with an increasing number of luxury customers getting behind the wheel of our TLX and ILX luxury performance models, ” said Mike Accavitti, Acura Division senior vice president and general manager. “Together with the benchmark MDX and recently refreshed RDX, both topping 5,000 units in sales, we’re on track for a summer of accelerating Acura sales.”
May highlights (vs. May 2014, except as noted):
- ILX was up 2.7 percent to 1,673 units
- RDX was up 24.2 percent to 5,343 units, setting an all-time record for the model
- TLX was responsible for 4,352 sales
