Next Generation Ford Mustang Speculated To The Max

Ford has some big plans for the Mustang when the pony car turns 50 years old in 2014. A new report by Auto Express says that Ford will build both left and right-hand-drive versions of the next generation Mustang in the United States and will ship it all over the world.

Auto Express also reiterates some rumors that have been flying around for the next-gen ‘Stang, including a plausible reduction of weight, an also plausible EcoBoost four-cylinder as an engine choice, and a more far-fetched rumor claiming the vehicle’s rear suspension will move from the current fixed axle setup to an independent rear suspension unit like that found in the 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro. There’s also the notion that a fixed axle will be an optional configuration… and that the car will be able to make your coffee while phoning Mars.
