GPS Data Reportedly Shows Bieber Driving Under Speed Limit When Pulled Over

When Justin Bieber was arrested for driving under the influence while reportedly speeding in Miami Beach last Thursday, it seemed that the evidence against him was airtight. But according to a new report, the pop star might not have been speeding in his rented Lamborghini when he was stopped, arrested, and later charged with a DUI by the Miami Police.

Apparently, TMZ got their hands on the GPS data from the rented Lamborghini Gallardo Bieber was driving. As it stands, the GPS trackers are quite common on rented vehicles, and the data unearthed by TMZ shows that the Gallardo rented by Bieber was traveling at just 27 miles per hour before he was pulled over. To note, that’s three miles per hour below the speed limit on the road on which he was driving.

Assuming the data is accurate (and, at this point, that’s one big assumption), Bieber might not have been street racing that Thursday morning… not that that negates the trouble he’s recently gotten into in New Jersey. Stay tuned as we follow this Bieber-full development.

The Motrolix Take

If it were up to us, we’d play it safe and send him to driving school… just like Ford recommended.
