2025 Honda Passport To Get New Pilot’s Interior

Honda first introduced the Passport nameplate in 1993, with production lasting for two generations before it was discontinued in 2002. The nameplate then sat on the shelf for nearly two decades before the third-generation Honda Passport launched for the 2019 model year. Now, the 2025 Honda Passport is poised to introduce a model refresh, and Motrolix has learned that it will once again share an interior design and layout with the Honda Pilot.

For those readers who may be unaware, the Honda Passport and Honda Pilot shared an identical interior design and layout for the 2022 model year, prior to the introduction of the redesigned 2023 Honda Pilot. Now, with the 2025 Honda Passport set to debut a refresh for the Passport nameplate, the updated 2025 Honda Passport will adopt the redesigned 2023 Honda Pilot’s interior design and layout.

In terms of look and layout in the cabin, the redesigned 2023 Honda Pilot features a large, stand-up infotainment screen on top of the dash, mounted horizontally above a pair of rectangular air vents. A swath of hard buttons and knobs are placed below the vents, and include square buttons, small digital readouts, and circular knobs to make fine adjustments. Below this is the central tunnel, which provides space for storage, including two large cup holders, and additional controls.

A head-up display is also offered higher in the lineup. The standard infotainment screen is a 7-inch unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, while a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is optional.

Further highlights include a new navigation system with smartphone integration, a Qi-compatible wireless charging system, Bose premium sound system, HondaLink, and a multi-view camera system. The multi-use tray placed ahead of the shifter includes a 2.5A USB-A port and a 3.0A USB-C port.
