In the majority of cases, men and women of the military both past and present demand one thing of their pickup truck: that it be a Ford F-150.
Ford Motor Company is very proud of the fact that a survey conducted by the USAA – the United Services Automobile Association – found that the Ford F-150 is not just the most popular truck, but the most popular vehicle among active and former members of the military, regardless of what branch they serve. Of course, this fact only reflects the general trend of truck-buying across the entire United States, which continues to place the Ford F-150 at the top of a majority of truck-buyers’ shopping lists.
The data from which these findings were generated is with regard to the discontinued 2014 model year Ford F-150, before the truck had switched to an all-aluminum body. But something tells us the military-friendly truck isn’t about to slip out of favor; Ford does use military grade aluminum, after all.
