Rolls-Royce Rocks On With New ‘Inspired By Music’ Special Edition Wraith

Since launching its Wraith two door model in 2013, Rolls-Royce has offered two limited edition versions of the car inspired by fashion and film. Those were appropriately referred to as the Wraith Inspired by Fashion and Wraith Inspired by Film editions, and now, the West Sussex, UK-based automaker has turned the duet into a trio with the Wraith Inspired by Music edition.

The Inspired by Music Wraith is described by Rolls Royce as “effortlessly cool,”, much like the musicians that did and still do choose its cars as their luxury barges of choice. The centerpiece of the model is its Bespoke Audio system, which is available in standard Wraith models but has received some changes for the Inspired by Music model.

The Bespoke Audio system is a 1300W, 18-channel system comprising of two bass speakers, seven tweeters and seven mid range speakers. Rolls-Royce says sound engineers worked with Rolls-Royce interior designers for two years to perfectly calibrate the sound of the system to the Wraith’s interior, and this attention to detail continues elsewhere on the car.

Copper details have been used in the speaker covers and compliment other copper touches on the Wraith’s dashboard, door inserts and throughout the cabin. Additionally, the chaplets on the clock have been crafted using a combination of copper and silver, whilst the radial lines of the outer bezel “emulate the look and feel of vinyl records,” Rolls-Royce says. On the outside, the Inspired by Music Wraith is set apart by a special ‘Lyrical Copper’ paint color, which “elegantly hints at the use of copper in only the very best audio systems.”

It’s unknown how many Inspired by Music Edition Wraiths Rolls-Royce will produce, but we have a hunch that if you really want one, a visit to your local Rolls-Royce dealer should yield a positive result.
