Supercar Slayer: The 810 HP MMD By Foose 2015 Mustang GT

Partnerships in the tuner market can often lead to some of the most interesting, capable, and desirable creations. Just look at the jaw-droppingly gorgeous Galpin-Fisker Rocket Mustang GT, which marries stunning Henrik Fisker design with hardcore tuning provided by Galpin.

Or, feast your eyes on the above: the Modern Muscle Design (MMD) by Foose 2015 Mustang GT.

The new skin lent to this hot Mustang build may not be quite as dramatic and trademark as something Fisker might dream up, but it’s impossible to mistake for a run-of-the-mill Mustang GT nonetheless. Chip Foose of Foose Design was mostly behind the MMD by Foose 2015 Mustang’s new look, and the car rides on four of his signature 20-inch wheels.

That’s all rendered virtually irrelevant when you hear the power output figure: 810 horsepower. Yup. That’s accomplished with a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger by Bama Performance, feeding the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 just about all the air it can handle. Autoblog reports that the driveshaft is made of carbon fiber – just like on the Corvette Z06 – to cut down on parasitic loss as the power makes its way to the rear wheels.

Best of all, you actually have the chance to own this mental piece of engineering wizardry; all you have to do is enter the raffle at the AmericanMuscle website, and if selected, you’ll be flown over to the AmericanMuscle Mustang show in Pennsylvania this August. There, Chip Foose will personally hand you the keys to your new MMD by Foose 2015 Mustang GT.

Failing that, plenty of the performance and appearance parts on this car will be available for purchase for your own 2015 Mustang GT. That path is just, you know, 100 percent less-free.
