Fashionistas Commit A Senseless Crime By Crushing A Classic Porsche 911: Video

Disclaimer: The video below is not for the faint of heart. Nor for those with a weak stomach. Nor for those with a love for cars, an appreciation for subtlety, or a penchant for reusing what can be reused.

In it, a fashion label called “rag & bone” crushes a classic Porsche 911 for no discernible reason other than to be controversial and distracting.

Indeed, we’re probably playing into the label’s hand as we write this, giving them the publicity they so obviously crave. But as car lovers, who (of course) adore a solid, classic Porsche 911 as much as the next petrolhead, we can’t very well help ourselves.

We found this video by way of website recombu, the writers of which seem just as disgusted by the random act of violence as we are. And indeed, the YouTube community seems to agree; since its publishing on the 28th of July, the video has received an astonishing 5,879 Dislikes to just 66 Likes, and more negative backlash in the Comments section than one can shake a stick at.

Now, we’re not advocating for any radical, violent retribution toward the clothing label for showing such awful judgement and wanton disregard for Porsche 911 enthusiasts everywhere. But if you have the means, and you feel up to the task, purchase an article of clothing or two from the fashion label, record yourself setting said clothing ablaze, and we will circulate that video until we’re blue in the face.
