Man Takes Delivery Of A Porsche 918, Carrera GT, And A McLaren P1: Video

“Money can’t buy you happiness,” as they say.

Yeah, right. All evidence to the contrary.

The video above tells the story of one very fortunate member of society taking delivery of three of the most exciting, exotic supercars to come out since the turn of the century. They are: the Porsche Carrera GT (’04 to ’06), Porsche 918 Spyder (’14 to ’15), and the McLaren P1 (’14 to present).

The man – identified in the video only as “Sandro” – bought the three super-sportscars in one fell swoop, and elected to fly out via helicopter to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Ontario, Canada to take delivery at the race track. He brought friends and family out to witness the auspicious delivery, carried out by Pfaff Automotive Partners, and of course, got to spend a hefty amount of time lapping the Porsche Carrera GT, 918 Spyder, and McLaren P1 out on the track. Steering him through it was Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Driver Chris Green.

Out of this trio of truly epic supercars, of course we don’t want to pick a favorite. But if we had to… it would have to be the Porsche Carrera GT. No, it’s not the most capable of the bunch, but it features a delicious, potent 5.7-liter V10 originally developed for motorsport, boasting an incredible 8,400 RPM redline and, as McLaren Toronto General Manager Jimmy Vervitas notes in the video, possibly the greatest sound of any production car ever made. (In actual fact, Mr. Vervitas is wrong on that account; the title obviously goes to the Lexus LFA.)

Plus, the Porsche Carrera GT is easily the prettiest of these three supercars. Now, if only Mr. Sandro could get his hands on a McLaren F1
